Signed-ai

AI signing desk

Sign what you actually understand.

Signed-ai reads the agreement first — flags indemnity, renewal, and data clauses — then places the fields and captures a legally binding electronic signature with a sealed audit trail you can hand to counsel.

The desk

A signature is the last line, not the first click.

Most e-sign tools race you to a scribble. Signed-ai treats the document as the work: extract the parties, mark the risk, route the right people, then take ink that will stand up later.

01 · Reader

The contract is summarized, not skipped.

Upload a PDF or DOCX. The reader names the parties, money, term, liability, and unusual language in a one-page brief before anyone is asked to sign.

02 · Fields

Signature blocks find themselves.

Date, initials, title, and countersignature boxes are proposed from the layout. You accept, nudge, or lock them. No hunting through 40 pages for “sign here.”

03 · Seal

Ink with a memory.

Each electronic signature is bound to identity evidence, IP, timestamp, and a document hash. The vault keeps the certificate next to the signed file.

How a packet closes

Four moves from draft to executed copy.

Counsel still owns the words. Signed-ai owns the desk: who sees it, what they attest, and what proof remains.

Step 01

Drop the file

PDF, Word, or a template from the vault. The reader builds a brief and a field map in one pass.

Step 02

Name the signers

Route in order or in parallel. Add a watcher for legal. Require a one-time code or ID check when the stake is high.

Step 03

They attest

Each signer sees the brief, the flagged clauses, and the pages that need ink. They draw, type, or upload a mark.

Step 04

Seal the packet

Everyone gets the executed PDF plus a certificate: who, when, how identified, and the hash of what they saw.

Why electronic signatures hold

A mark is valid when intent, consent, and association are clear.

U.S. law has treated electronic signatures as legally effective for decades. Signed-ai is built around that record — not around a prettier scribble.

ESIGN Act

Federal law (2000) confirms that a contract or signature may not be denied legal effect solely because it is electronic.

UETA

Adopted in most states. Same principle at the state level: electronic records and signatures can satisfy a writing requirement.

Intent & consent

The signer must mean to sign and agree to do business electronically. We capture that click, not just a drawing.

Association

The mark is logically bound to this document version. Change a clause after signing and the hash no longer matches.

Wet ink vs. electronic

Same legal idea. Better evidence.

A pen on paper is a snapshot. An electronic signature can be a story: identity, sequence, and the exact bytes that were shown.

Wet ink

The classic stack

  • Courier, printer, scan, hope the last page comes back
  • Hard to prove who held the pen
  • Easy to swap a page after the fact
  • Fine for a lease on a kitchen table

Signed-ai

The sealed packet

  • One file, one hash, every signer in a known order
  • Email, SMS code, or ID check on the record
  • Certificate travels with the PDF
  • Built for counsel, HR, sales, and real estate desks

Desks we keep

Wherever a name has to mean it.

If a packet needs a human to attest — offer, NDA, offer letter, listing, vendor form — the same desk applies.

From the vault

Teams who stopped signing unread.

“We used to chase wet ink for three days. Now counsel reads the brief, the founder signs on the phone, and the certificate is in the deal folder.”

Elena Voss · General counsel, studio group

“The AI flag on auto-renewal paid for the year.”

Marcus Bell · Ops

“Initials on every disclosure page, in order. Brokers stopped calling us about missing marks.”
